By accessing or using Signalio ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

Signalio is a geospatial alert notification platform that allows users to create, subscribe to, and receive location-based alerts. The Service includes web and mobile applications, APIs, and related tools for managing alerts, organizations, and campaigns.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to: (a) create false or misleading alerts; (b) use the Service for illegal activities; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems; (d) distribute malware or harmful content; (e) interfere with the operation of the Service; (f) scrape or collect data without authorization.

5. Organizations and Campaigns

Organization owners are responsible for the content published through their organizations and campaigns. By creating an organization, you agree to manage its members and content in compliance with these terms and applicable laws. We may remove organizations or campaigns that violate these terms.

6. Alert Content

You are solely responsible for alerts you create. Alerts must be truthful, relevant, and not violate third-party rights. We reserve the right to remove any alert that violates these terms, is misleading, or could cause public harm. False emergency alerts may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

7. Credits and Payments

Certain features require credits. Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Any applicable taxes are your responsibility.

8. Privacy and Data

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of data as described therein. Location data is processed only with your explicit consent, as required by the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR.

9. IPFS Content

Certain alert data may be published to the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS). Content published to IPFS is immutable and cannot be deleted. By creating alerts that are published to IPFS, you acknowledge that this data will remain publicly accessible indefinitely. Only pseudonymized data is published.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by Signalio and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you create but grant us a license to display and distribute it through the Service.

11. Service Availability

We strive to maintain continuous service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Signalio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the settings page. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though certain provisions survive termination.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria and the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Bulgaria, without prejudice to your right to bring proceedings in your country of residence under applicable consumer protection law.
