Alerts over Meshtastic when there is no mobile network

In the mountains, during a disaster or a power cut there is often no internet. Your team can send positions and alerts from Meshtastic radios. As soon as a message reaches a phone with internet, it shows up in Signalio.

The device sends A position or a short text such as "!sos".
The mesh relays it Devices pass the message along until it reaches a phone running the Meshtastic app.
Signalio shows it The position appears on the map and "!sos" becomes an alert.
A separate channel per organization Each channel has its own encryption key and its own server access.
Unknown devices are reviewed An alert from an unknown device waits for approval by the organization. You can trust known devices in advance.

For organizations and teams

Municipalities, volunteer groups, schools and companies publish alerts for their people and coordinate work in the field.

Role-Based Teams
Add members with owner, admin, or member roles to control who can publish alerts.
Publishing rules
You decide who publishes, whether alerts are public and who can see them.
Targeted Alerts
Create alerts with precise geographic areas so the right people receive them.

Campaigns on a shared map

When an alert turns into an operation, such as a fire, a search or a disaster, the organization runs it on one live map.

  • Action zones. Draw the containment area or search sectors and assign them to individual teams.
  • Team tracking. See the positions of volunteers and devices in the field in real time as they move.
  • Field markers and reports. Participants mark findings, hazards and key points right on the map for everyone.
  • Share with a link. Share the map with partners and volunteers via a link, even if they have no account.
